2. Andal Aerofield
Andal aerofield is like a lost world in Durgapur. That huge air port was used at the time of 2nd World war. After the end of British era till that that huge aerofield is not used by human and the mothers nature modified that place in her own way. More than 100 species were discovered till date by Amar Nayak. Yellow-wattled Lapwing, Cisticolas, Wolly-necked Stork, Munias, Plovers, Pipits, Common Babblers, Francolins, Ibises and Watercocks are some mentionable species in that place.
Anyone can reach in that place through minibus which are running between Durgapur and Raniganj. The name of stoppage is Dubchururia.

3. Pardaha Village
Pardaha Village is a beautiful destination for birders. Nearly 80 species were discovered till date. Yellow-wattled Lapwing, Oriental Skylark, Common Kestrel, Common Snipe and Crested Serpant Eagle are important and interesting species in that area.
The area can be reached by walking form Durgapur Government College more or auto rickshaw.

4. Ambuja Wetland
Ambuja wetland is situated in the heart of the city. A huge number of Lesser Whistling-Duck makes it the main attraction in winter. Bronze-winged Jacana, Little Grebe, Common Moorhen, Baya Weaver, Asian Palm-Swift, White-throated Kingfisher are the other common birds. About 70 species were revealed till date by the city birders.
This wetland can be easily reached by walking from City Center Bus stand.

5. MAMC
The Central Park and nearby bushy area is full of birds in MAMC. Jungle Owlet, Spotted Owlet, Flycatchers, Raptors, Bee-eaters were common. Little Pied Flycatcher were also found once in the Central Park.
